The Complete RSI Book Far from the complete guide on RSI – Alexander J. Everhart – Forex Markets
This book is poorly written overall and is far from complete and there are quite a few errors. The only thing this book has going for it is that there isn’t much out there on RSI. Yes it is true, a bullish trend is between 40-80 and a bearish trend is between 20-60, however the author does not really explain how to really tell when there is a shift from bullish to bearish and vice versa. I am far from sold on the whole divergence thing allthough it does work from time to time. There is a much simpler way to tell when price is consoladating and how to tell when it is breaking out of consolodation and which direction.

Frankly, I think I am going to write my own book on RSI because it is desperately needed.
Absolutely FULL of errors – Nebfire – Idaho
Unfortunately there are not very many books on the RSI indicator, or I would have never considered this publication. Although there are a few useful concepts that may be unique with John Hayden, much of what is discussed has been around for quite awhile (80/40 and 60/20, hidden divergences, etc.). Other than support and resistance, RSI patterns are never even discussed. The main complaint here is that the book is absolutely riddled with errors, and many of them in key areas of discussion.

For example: The numbers in the spreadsheet illustrating the RSI formula construction do not add correctly. The author skips from RSI rule #1 to #3 with no mention of #2. Many of the reference labels discussed in the text are missing in the charts. At least one chart is shown in a different time zone than what is under discussion in the text. Be assured, this is only a very small sampling. I have read a few discussions of this book in various trading forums and their complaints are considerably more harsh than mine.

I find it amazing how this book made into publication with so many errors. The whole book, from cover design to content is very unprofessional, especially for the price. I have since contacted the author and publishers inquiring about updates. There has been no response.

I can’t say enough positive things about this book. At first the amount of information and the detail is overwhelming; but it does contain everything I need to know about my condition and seems to be written just for me. I have been reading and re-reading it, one section at a time, in an effort to learn all I need to know to defeat my neck and shoulder trouble. Even though I realize that recovery isn’t instant, it has been comforting to know that I have all of this information at hand.
Did what doctors and PT couldn’t! – Ian Beaver –
I have been a programmer and heavy computer user for around 10 years and for the last 2 have been having mild back pain, but didn’t think much of it. 6 months ago I started getting pain and numbness in my fingers, hands and wrists so I went in to my doctor. He assumed I had injured them somehow and put me on steroids, and then anti-inflammatories. After being on drugs for 2 months I figured it wasn’t helping and went in to PT. He treated my symptoms and worked with my hands and wrists for a month with little improvement. The pain began interfering with my ability to sleep, and was very discouraging considering I make my living on a computer! About that time I saw this book on Amazon, read the reviews and decided it was worth a try. Within a week of reading this book and working through the stretches and strength building exercises in it, the pain and numbness began to reside! I then went in for PT on my back instead of my hands as the book recommends, and have since greatly improved my posture and lengthened the amount of time I can be at a computer without the pain setting in! The book offers no quick fix, but it took years to break my body down so far so it will probably take months to recover. This book has given me results that no doctor or PT could! If you sit at a computer all day, you need to read this book! Don’t let your body collapse as far as I did before you do something about it! It won’t heal on its own!

Using A Blog To Market On The Internet

The internet is full of ways to make money. The marketing possibilities are endless. You have search engine optimization, social media optimization, eBay, and literally hundreds of other options. Choosing the right method for marketing can be difficult simply because there are so many options.

Blogging has been thought of primarily as a low-end method for making money with the internet. The psychology behind this classification is simple – the entrance requirements for blogging are very low. Blogging is free to anyone that is smart enough to fill out a form and read some instructions. An estimated 70-100 millions blogs are out there and I would agree that most of them don’t make a lot of money.

A fact that is quite interesting to me is how much top blogs are able to produce with minimal effort. Could it be that the low-end blog provides the highest leverage of all the types on internet marketing? I would argue that yes, it does.

Instead of relying on search engine traffic alone, good blogs develop a group of daily readers. These readers can be leveraged for link building purposes and can also be used again and again to make money. The traffic possibilities for good blogs are simply much higher than that of traditional sites due to their residual nature. Visitors keep coming back because they get used to the posting schedule of the blog they’ve learned to enjoy.

Optimizing blogs for search engines can be much easier than optimizing for traditional sites. Links are generated automatically when blogs ping, and readers tend to link to articles and posts that they enjoy. These links will always lead to an increase in search engine hits.

Once a blogger or business has gained a loyal readership, it is fairly simple to make money. There are many options available for bloggers. Contextual advertising models like Adsense and Yahoo Publishing are available, and direct ad sales are very common. Bloggers can also take advantage of a new wave of advertising that pays them to post articles about certain topics.

Advertisers can hire bloggers to create buzz about their products. Top blogs can earn as much as $1,000 for a single post. In this advertising model, blogs are ranked against each other to determine which ones are worth the most. Brokers use stats such as Alexa ranking and Google PageRank to determine a value of what a post would be worth. Bloggers can better their rankings to become more valuable to advertisers.

For businesses that are interested in creating a high-traffic website, a company blog would be an outstanding option. The possible traffic leverage is outstanding as soon as a blog develops a small following. Once the traffic is there, it’s easy to create income.

Zoo Tycoon 2

Zoo Tycoon 2 Kurzweiliges Zooabenteuer – Xenia Kollbach –
Im Spiel Zootycoon geht es darum einen Zoo aufzubauen, Tierarten zu kaufen, sie zu pflegen und den Zoo attraktiv für die Besucher zu gestalten.

Es gibt drei Modi: Pfleger-Modus: man kümmert sich um die Tiere

Zoodirektor-Modus: Aus-und Einnahmen kontrollieren
Zooerbauer-Modus: man legt Gehege an und kauft Tiere

Insgesamt muss ich sagen, dass mich das Spiel nicht vom Hocker gerissen hat. Ich kenne das PC-Spiel und ziehe das dem DS Spiel in jedem Falle vor.
Positiv:
-es gibt 30 Tierarten und auch viele seltene Arten (Otter, Biber, Riesenrappenantilope, Einhorn, Yeti……)
-der Pfleger-Modus
-es entsteht (im Vergleich zum PC-Spiel) kaum Müll

-die Delfinshow
-neues Spielzeug für die Tiere

-Monatsabhängige Deko, z.B. für Weihnachten (kann man dann nur im Dezember kaufen..)

Negativ:
-man kann nur 10 Gehege bauen, irgendwie schade bei 30 Tierarten
-bei der Delfinshow tut man nichts, sondern schaut nur zu, schade….
-ebenso wie die Gehegeanzahl, ist auch die Anzahl für Deko, Bäume usw. bald ausgeschöpft, und man kann nichts mehr bauen

Fazit:
Schöne Grafik und einige neue Ideen, lassen leider nicht darüber hinwegtäuschen, dass das Spiel bald (nachdem man die Kampagnen zu Ende gespielt hat) langweilig wird. Beim PC-Spiel ist es deutlich schwieriger den Zoo zu bauen, da die Besucher nerven, Gehegezäune rosten und das Geld ausgeht.
